Optional Overdraft Service gives you a 24-hour grace period. Avoid an overdraft fee if you bring your Account to a positive available balance within 24 hours from the time of the first transaction that created the negative balance.
After you’ve activated your card and verified your identity, find your routing number and account number in a number of ways.
Log in to the Online Account Center. From the main menu, select ‘Direct Deposit.’ The account information required to sign up for Direct Deposit will appear in the grey box on the right side of the screen.
If you enrolled in Anytime Alerts™, text DIRECT to 22622. Netspend will text you the routing number and account number.
Call 1-800-6269-4146 and select the option for Other Services to get your Direct Deposit information.
If you don’t have a Netspend card and would like to sign up for free Direct Deposit, your first step is to order a Netspend card. When you receive the card in the mail, it comes with Direct Deposit sign-up instructions, including how to get the routing and account numbers.
Virtual accounts/cards allow you to make purchases or pay bills online with the funds in your account without sharing your physical card number.
Each virtual account consists of a 16-digit account number, a 3-digit security code, and an expiration date.
Virtual accounts have a 1-year expiration date.
You can create up to 6 (or six) virtual accounts at a time and close them at any time.

After your identity has been verified and you have activated your personalized card, creating a virtual account is simple. Click “Card Settings” (you will need to login to your Account) and “Add a Virtual account” and follow the instructions.
You should immediately contact Customer Service via our toll-free number, 1-800-6269-4146. Or, you can log in to the Online Account Center to report your card lost or stolen. From the main menu, select ‘My Account’, ‘My Prepaid Cards’ and then ‘Report Card Lost/Stolen’. You will also be able to order a new card.
